Getting a family tree of my family has been something I’ve been trying to do for a long time. But it needed to be something that’s easily maintainable and looks good. I finally found a tutorial on a Flash based family tree that could be easily updated from a text file. For the past few weeks, I’ve been working on it, and it is finally presentable, so here it is.

It’s flash based, so you people with iDevices won’t be able to see it. As you can see, there is still quite a few things I need to work out. For example, there is no way to click on or get any info on the spouses. Also, the spouses are the same color as the main family members. I’d like to get all the males blue and all the females red. There’s quite a few other things I want to fix, but it’s finally at a point where I can at least get it out there in a “beta” format and get some feedback. So please take a look, click around and leave me some feedback below.
